WHAT TO WEAR
When you come to St. Andrew’s, dress as comfortably and casually, or as formally, as you like. Everyone is welcome to worship with us!
WALKING IN
As you enter the Narthex, you’ll be warmly welcomed by one of our greeters. They can tell you more about our services, give you directions to the different Kingdom Life classes and tell you what is available for your children throughout the morning.
The Welcome Desk is located in the center of the Narthex. Blank name tags are available at the Welcome Desk and everyone (visitor and member alike) is encouraged to make and wear one. This helps us get to know each other. We also have a gift for you to welcome you to our community.
SERVICES
The 8:45 a.m. worship service is more traditional. The liturgy is followed in a printed program with a mixture of ancient and modern hymns. It is approximately 70 minutes in length.
The 11 a.m. worship service is more contemporary. The liturgy is followed on two projection screens with hymns set to modern accompaniment and the newest songs of praise. It is approximately 90 minutes in length.
Beginnings is our ministry to the youngest in our congregation. Age-appropriate classes are available throughout the morning for infants through preschoolers. Learn more about Beginnings here.
ENCOUNTER kids is our ministry for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Kids in this age group worship with their families in the service. After the reading of the Gospel, they follow the cross out of the sanctuary for a creative time of worship designed specifically for them. They return to celebrate Holy Communion with their families. Learn more about ENCOUNTER kids here.
