Prime Timers Lunch

Promises of God

All women are invited to come and explore the promises of God. Scripture tells us that God “has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature….” 2 Peter 1:3-4.

Sermon on the Mount

The Sermon on the Mount is one of Jesus’ most well-known teachings, yet it’s not so well-understood. By listening carefully to each verse in context, we will aim to better understand Jesus’ unconventional wisdom, the true path to the good life God intended. For more information, contact Ann Clardy.

Kairos Info Session
Saturday, February 7 | 9 a.m–4 p.m.
Join St. Andrew’s Kairos team on Saturday, Febrary 7, at City Hope Church in Jacksonville (3501 John Harden Dr.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for an inspiring day of Kairos activities and information. This is a great day for those who want to know more about the ministry and God’s life-changing work in prisons in Arkansas. We will have special sessions to show the impact of Kairos in Arkansas and how we love, serve and grow God’s family behind bars. Lunch in provided, but you must register in advance here.
Community Groups
Sign up: January 11-February 8
St. Andrew’s seasonal community groups, offering more accessible on and off-ramps to community and discipleship, will be starting back up the week of February 22. Spring Community Groups will have a 13-week run ending before Memorial Day, gathering weekly to share a meal and engage with scripture.
Groups will be meeting at various times and locations throughout the city. Once you have signed up, we will work to match you with the group that best fits your schedule and location. We will contact you with your assigned group after registration ends on February 12.
There is no need to sign up if you are already in a group that is continuing. For more information, contact Dustin Freeman.
Instructive Liturgy
Sunday, February 15 | Both services
On Sunday, February 15, both services will be an instructive liturgy. At various points throughout each service, the clergy will briefly explain what we are doing and why we are doing it. This is a good Sunday to invite your friends and great way to learn more about the meaning behind the way we worship and the Anglican tradition.
