Instructive Liturgy

Sundays, February 2  |  both services

On Sunday, February 2, both services will be an instructive liturgy. At various points throughout each service, the clergy will briefly explain what we are doing and why we are doing it. This is a great way to learn more about the meaning behind the way we worship and the Anglican tradition, and a wonderful Sunday to invite friends.

Community Groups

At St. Andrew’s, community groups are one of the best ways to get engaged in community and discipleship. 

Spring Community Groups will have a 13-week run beginning the week of February 23 and ending in late May, gathering weekly to share a meal and engage with scripture. 

To participate, simply sign up below.

Groups will be meeting at various times and locations throughout the city. Once you have signed up, we will work to match you with the group that best fits your schedule and location. We will contact you with your assigned group after registration ends on February 12. 

There is no need to sign up if you are already in a group that is continuing. For more information, contact Rev. Dustin Freeman (dustin@saclr.org).

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Galentine’s Party

Thursday, February 13 | 6:30 p.m. | Commons

Join us for a delicious Galentine’s Party on Thursday, February 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Commons. This fun dessert night includes chocolate fountains, bingo (with prizes!) and making Valentine cards for residents at the Manor. All women at the church are encouraged to attend from high school up. For more information, contact Kimberly Cook.

You’ll also have the opportunity (but not required!) to sign up to bring large marshmallows, large pretzel sticks, angel food cake or pound cake cut in chunks, strawberries, pineapples and/or bananas for the chocolate fountain!

ENCOUNTER KIDS

Movie Night

Friday, February 14 | 6-8 p.m.

It’s time for a kid’s night out—Valentine’s style! Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a movie night. From 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 14, drop your kids off in the Mary & Martha Room to watch a movie, have pizza and eat all sorts of goodies from the popcorn bar. Kids, come in your pjs, bring your favorite blanket and pillow and enjoy a night with your friends! 

MONTHLY EVENING OF

Come & See Prayer

Sunday, February 9 | 5:30—Testimonies; 6 p.m.—worship

St. Andrew’s sets aside the second Sunday evening each month for a time of worship and prayer. Join us in the Prayer Room at 5 p.m. for a time of sharing testimonies. Worship will begin at 6 p.m. This is a time for us to come before the Lord, and seek him for healing, direction, or just to sit in his presence. We’ll have prayer teams available. Come and experience all that God is longing to show you.
