
The 8:45 a.m. worship service is more traditional. The liturgy is followed in a printed program with a mixture of ancient and modern hymns. It is approximately 70 minutes in length.
The 11 a.m. worship service is more contemporary. The liturgy is followed on two projection screens with hymns set to modern accompaniment and the newest songs of praise. It is approximately 90 minutes in length.
A Mother’s Room, with volume-controlled audio of the service, is available for nursing moms and those with infants.
Child care for infants through preschoolers is available throughout the service. Children may be picked up at The Peace to partake in Holy Communion with their families.
Kindergarteners through sixth graders follow the cross out of the sanctuary after the Gospel reading for Encounter KIDS, a creative time of worship designed specifically for kids, before returning for Holy Communion.
Wear red on June 5 to celebrate Pentecost Sunday—the day we remember and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit to the church. This year, we are going to commemorate the day the Christian church began with a special celebration between services We’ll have fancy donuts, good coffee and great fellowship.
