SUMMARY:Sunday Services/Classes
DESCRIPTION:THE SERVICES\nThe 8:45 a.m. worship service is more traditional. The liturgy is followed in a printed program with a mixture of ancient and modern hymns. It is approximately 70 minutes in length. \nThe 11 a.m. worship service is more contemporary. The liturgy is followed on two projection screens with hymns set to modern accompaniment and the newest songs of praise. It is approximately 90 minutes in length. \nCHILDREN IN THE SERVICE\nA Mother’s Room\, with volume-controlled audio of the service\, is available for nursing moms and those with infants. \nChild care for infants through preschoolers is available throughout the service. Children may be picked up at The Peace to partake in Holy Communion with their families. \nKindergarteners through sixth graders follow the cross out of the sanctuary after the Gospel reading for Encounter KIDS\, a creative time of worship designed specifically for kids\, before returning for Holy Communion. \nBETWEEN THE SERVICES\nClasses for all age groups are available between services (10:10-10:50 a.m.). \nBeginnings\nMusic class for toddlers and preschoolers is held in the preschool room. Child care for infants in available in the infant room. \nENCOUNTER kids\nChildren learn about our faith in Christ in an age-appropriate way. \nDASH\nSeventh through twelfth graders participate in teaching and discussion on a companion verse or parallel topic to the day’s sermon. \nAdults\nWe always have several classes for adults\, find out the current offerings here.

SUMMARY:Family Ministry Move-Up Sunday
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, August 14\, is St. Andrew’s Move-Up Sunday—the Sunday that our children graduate to their next class. Those in Pre-K4 during the 2021-22 school year will begin worshiping with their parents in the service and leaving during the sermon for ENCOUNTER Kids. Those in fifth grade during the 2021-22 school year are now a part of the youth group and will remain in the sanctuary for the entire service.

DESCRIPTION:Are you new to St. Andrew’s? If so\, you are invited you to the Newcomers’ Dessert on Sunday\, August 14\, from 6-7:30 p.m. for a casual time of dessert and fellowship.
